Section 2: Information about the processing of personal data
(1) In addition to our online offer, we provide you with a mobile app that you can download to your mobile device. In the following, we inform you about the processing of personal data when using our mobile app. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, contact data, and user behaviour.
(2) When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, name and telephone number, if applicable) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We delete the data accruing in this context, if the inquiry is assigned to a contract, after the time limits for the term of the contract, otherwise after the storage is no longer necessary [usually after three years], or restrict the processing if there are legal obligations to retain the data.
(3) If we use service providers for individual functions of our product or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will always carefully select and monitor these service providers and inform you in detail about the respective processes below. In doing so, we also state the specified criteria for the storage period.
(4) The following data can be transmitted as part of the "connect" / "vernetzen" function:

This data is made available to the respective AddMee profile owner by email. In addition, the profile owner has the option of transferring this data directly to his CRM system for further processing.
(5) The data collected when using the business card scanner is prepared for further processing via www.textraction.ai. The data is made available to the respective AddMee profile holder by email and in their AddMee profile. As a business customer, the profile owner has the option of transferring this data to their CRM system and processing it there.
Section 3: Processing of personal data when using our mobile app and disclosure to third parties for advertising purposes
(1) When downloading and installing the mobile app, personal data is processed by the app store. We are not aware of what data is processed. We have no influence on this data processing and are not responsible for it.
(2) When using the mobile app, we process the personal data described below to enable convenient use of the functions. If you wish to use our mobile app, we process the following data, which are technically necessary for us to offer you the functions of our mobile app and to ensure stability and security, so that they must be processed by us. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. f GDPR:

Section 4: External hosting
The data transmitted by our app and all profile entries are hosted by an external service provider. This means that the personal data that our app transmits to us and your profile entries, is stored on the servers of this so-called hoster. This is mainly the following personal data: Email address, username, password (so-called hash), all data made in your AddMee profile and other data collected when using the app (see above).
The external hosting is done for us by the Telekom Deutschland GmbH, Landgrabenweg 151, 53227 Bonn, Germany. They processes the personal data on our behalf and under our instruction. We have concluded a corresponding contract data processing agreement with the Deutsche Telekom GmbH.
Your personal data will be forwarded according to Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. b GDPR for the processing of contractual relationships with potential and existing customers. In addition, we have a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. f GDPR in the fast, efficient and secure provision of our app by a provider of hosting services.

Section 5: Data subject rights
The GDPR has significantly expanded your rights. These are listed below and briefly explained, citing the legal basis.
Information, Art. 15 GDPR: You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. This includes, for example, information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, and about the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;
Right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR: You can immediately request the correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us;
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), Art. 17 GDPR: You have a right to erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims;
Right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR: You may request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. The prerequisite is that you dispute the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
Right to data transfer, Art. 20 GDPR: You may request to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to have it transferred to another controller;
Revocation of consent, Art. 7 (3) GDPR: You can revoke your consent once given to us at any time. This has the consequence that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent for the future. However, the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation is not affected by this;
Right of complaint, Art. 77 DSGVO: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of data protection law. We will then no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
